But does his core fan base really care? And just how core are they really? They're out there in the rain, somehow not at work, carrying signs that say "I'm With CoCo", checking their Facebook page, and running down the street trying to get a free pizza slice from a Conan staffer. Doesn't seem to be a lot of deep thinking going in that crowd. I would guess that the legacy & prestige of The Tonight Show is lost on them.
