My refusal to buy the Star Wars SEs is based in the belief that when a film is altered, both versions should be made available to the public, and not make up some half-assed story about as far as you're concerned, the originals were rough versions and this is the final version. If Spielberg could release both versions of E.T., regardless of which version he prefers, why can't Lucas release both versions of the Star Wars Trilogy? Answer that and I might consider your arguments worth the memory they're hogging on this server.
