Evidently not, unless Anakin got Padmé pregnant on purpose.  Considering how upset Padmé was upon discovering that she was pregnant, he would have to have done so without her knowledge or consent.  I.e., there are two possibilities:

1) Force-as-birth-control is not completely reliable, and the pregnancy was an accident.

2) Anakin wanted Padmé to get pregnant and tricked her into it with the Jedi equivalent of poking a hole in the condom.
