Please forgive me for this being slightly off-topic, but I have a feeling some people here are gonna love this. Just read about this amazing FLYING X-WING over on a tech site. Apparently, it was shown at the CES Consumer Electronics Show, but due to obvious reasons, will never hit retail. What a shame.
Here's a clip of it in action:

Who wants one?
Ady, very sorry to hear about the bad news with the car. Glad your wife is okay though.

If my PS3 can play it then that's good enough for me. Still, a Blu-Ray release would be swanky.
yes but blank Bluray Discs are prohibitively expensive - at least where i live.

Hi guys,
can we have a comparison image?
In fact i havent noticed any scale differences. Or its too perfect done :D or there wasnt one.
Thanks for doing my mockup in motion :D:D:D

A little bit of snow and our country grinds to a halt, its pathetic.
Can i suggest your wife uses a Taun Taun to get back and too from work master Ady?
O boooo IT really works!
I couldnt find the changes if you havent put the comparison! Assuming is doable!
i said before when is possible. Awesome job again Jaitea!:D

As suggested by Vaderios, heres a comparison video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxy8ftlwpiA J
I can clearly see the scale difference in that first part of the clip...but I'm not seeing any dif in the second half...teach me, you will?

*******
The second part of the clip has the interrupting droid removed, no scale differences.

Those are really great changes - I particularly dig the removal of the droid in Han's first close-up. It just seems more effective, not only in terms of continuity but also in emotion, to not have that droid come bumbling through the scene where Han is stealing himself to say goodbye to Luke. And the scale-correction looks seamless!
Nvm
It is amazing how well it works (not that most people would notice) as much as I am loathed to add more work onto Ady's shoulders I really do think it's worth giving this a try for ESB:R going by these results.

I'm cool with it either way...........but brilliant job on the scaling.
I am impressed.

In fact I see lot of talent here.
Jaitea can try the most debated ideas here that dropped.
In fact i was thinking the idea of the clouds that monroville said.
Or I hope for a previz for the wing flaps that we suppose to see from the snowspeeder cockpit close ups...
Thanks again for your effords here :)

Hi guys,
A motion test to see if Han and Chewie could be resized to improve the scale of the Falcon, at present I've only adjusted Han, gonna try and fix Chewie & dash next. I also fiddled with the droid who interrupts the next scene of Han & Luke as suggested by Vaderios, I know Ady isn't going to fix these scenes so I thought I'd mock them up just to see if everyone thinks it is worth it.
