If you guys are so obsessed over rejecting everything new Lucas is doing, why even bother with DVD? You can own laserdisc. They don't degrade and I'm sure you can find them on EBay.

What this comes down to is you feel that Lucas owes you and think that since you are Star Wars fans you get to dicate what he does. Sorry, the world doesn't work that way.

T or F, was the theatrical cut of LOR released on DVD? True

T or F, was the theatrical of LOR the only cut availible for 20 years? false

T or F, has anyone grown up and become attached to the theatrical cut of LOR like people have become attached to the orginal OT? false

T or F, has Peter Jackson lied and said the the theatrical cut no longer exists? false

BTW you still havn't answer my question, why would it bother you if I was able to get the classic OT on DVD? You'd still be able to get you ruined edition on DVD. Tell me what in heavens name would be wrong with that arrangement?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, we are the ones bought the tickets for his movies, that bought all the VHS and laser disc copies of his movies, we are the ones the buy the books, apparel, toys, computer games, etc. And we are also the ones he HOPES will buy his future products. That should count for somthing. Maybe the world doesn't work that way, but it should. Tell me why it shouldn't? and tell me why it can't!
