"I'll never buy the Ses on VHS, DVD, etc". Whatever. You already own them on VHS, because you bought them back in '97 when they came out.
But the point I need to make is, how the hell can anyone act surpised that Lucas isn't going to put the rough-cut out on DVD? He said nine years ago, NINE YEARS AGO thar the "95 release was the LAST TIME the original versions would ever be released on video. So if you where actually paying any attention you'd known that he wans't going to release the rough-cut of the movies on DVD, or VHS, or lazer disc for the last NINE FREAKIN' YEARS.
How the hell is it Lucas' fault you guys didn't pay attention when he said NINE YEARS ago that he would never release the movies in their original version ever again? I bet you giys yell at the teacher when he gives you an "F" for not paying attention in class.
This wasn't a surprise to anyone who actually looked at the back of the box of the 1995 "One Last Time" edition of the trilogy. So other than SEs haters, the very fanboys that are a pox on all Star Wars fans, the very idiots that make the rest of us look like anal-retentive losers, why would any sane, rational, observant person be surprised?
