The SEs are much better than the originals. Oh sure, Greedo shooting first SUCKS, and I would have loved to have seen Ian in ESB, but other than a few minor quibbels here and there, the effects look better, the sound is better and the movies blend in much better with the PT.
Furthermore, in every poll I've seen/taken the SEs always outstrip the rough cuts. Every single time.
So this site has 50,000 sigs. Big deal. The SEs made millions at the box office, and no matter how many times these 50,000 people went and saw them they still didn't bankroll that success.
So we might be in the minority here, but we are the majorirty that will make the DVD release of the SEs the biggest DVD release in history.
Furthermore, if you giys hate the SEs so much, don't friggin' buy them! That'll teach GL to improve his movies!
I'd love to see y'all put your money where your mouth is and not buy the DVDs.
