Yes. Chicken Run is modeled on prisoner of war movies like Stalag 17 and The Great Escape, with the chickens trying to escape their life of slavery as egg producers. Things get more intense when Mrs. Tweedy decides to turn the farm into a chicken pie making plant.

Brilliant friggin' movie by the makers of Wallace and Grommit. Of course, Jimbo would want to see this redone with CGI because claymation is too antiquated.
