Now obviously between scenes there would need to be paning shots of Coruscant. That would make it feel more like they are there. I'm not that crazy about the idea, but I think it would be easy to do and take away some of the dull scenery in ROTJ.

Here's a rough and ready set of mockups to illustrate the basic mobile palace idea and for Coruscant fans the first two are in take off mode (I know the scale is all wrong but the idea being that the throne room is like the gondola of an airship).
The inverted Stargate ship is just a place holder for whatever design anyone would like to come up with.
