RE: Marvel SW

I've read some of them and they didn't really grab me. I got some that retold parts of the 1977 movie from my Uncle Blaine in the early 80s and I remember thinking they added some really dumb scenes that didn't make much sense. Should I keep trying, or just accept that we're not on the same wavelength...?

I forgot to mention that I picked up the Thrawn Trilogy in comic form recently. I've enjoyed seeing the books visualized to some point but find that the dialogue and story abridgement don't really stand up when you're reading the books at the same time.
