ok parts of videos that i gin at times have flickering, or what i tend to call them "stobing" or "pulsing"

tmpgenc's anti flicker filter doesnt sort it , adobe and sony's de flicker doesnt sort it, and the msu filter even though is updated, is sadly still no good becuase it turns the visual into somethign simlar to a glass bowl just been washed with fairy liquid.

Kinda sounds like a simple field order problem.  Give it a go changing the field order from upper to lower maybe.

Hope this helps.

If television is chewing gum for the mind, then the prequels are the worlds first visual laxative.

Or field-shift, where the fields come from two neighboring frames. I've run into that on some PAL Star Trek dvds. (This is the least likely. All 3 are fixable).

What do you see when you step through it, frame by frame? (See if you can open it in VirtualDubMod. It won't add fields). What are your sources?

One day I found... 10 years had got behind me. Next day was worse.

Download  shows from Cable DVR (Updated! Yes, it needs a rewrite, but it's worth slogging through, anyway).
