Can you have artistic license in an edit that fixes most of the errors? :D
I'm not sure what you're asking, or whether you think artistic licence is good or bad...
But as an example of artistic licence, there's a bit in The World Is Not Enough where Bond fires at the bad guy, who's standing behind bullet proof glass. There's a huge (relatively speaking) delay between the firing of the shot and impact of the bullet, during which there is a cut so we see the bullet hit, but I find the sequence very effective, and wouldn't remove that delay no matter how glaring an "error" it is.

Artistic license is always good. But depends the POV.
If you want to fix most of the things then the artistic license is gone but keeping the dramatic license as well.
