Edit: Yeah, makes sense- there's such a time gap between the movies it probably wouldn't match much, if at all. If we are thinking Trek snow storms, I'd throw out the blu ray of Trek VI- The Undiscovered Country. That has a section on an ice planet, which ironically is featured in the deleted scenes of the new movie. Even that might not be much help, since the actual snow footage is fairly short.
