I suggested starting TPM with the Federation fleet jumping out of hyperspace and surrounding Naboo many moons back to provide that necessary kick to the start of the film.
But to do it properly someone would need to build a Federation Ship as there is almost no workable footage of the back of the thing.
Which I hope excuses the crappy nature of this ancient mock-up (I'd prefer it to copy the style of the ANH start to serve as visual punctuation so when seen in sequence Episode IV can be seen as the beginning of a new chapter):
