Any road up the idea is on the table.

If people want to play with it play away, if not don't.

It's the only way of adding more ghost action I can see that makes any sense at all and thinking about it made it make even more sense to me than it did when the idea popped in my head.

What is so all powerful about being a ghost anyway (other than the excellent points Darth Solo brought up, Force Ghosts don't even leave mucus for Egon)?

You get to chat to the living, possibly pass on a bit of old school knowledge while Luke is building his new school (great stuff if the story was going to go beyond ROTJ but not very useful if it ends with Episode VI).

It's not like Lucas' videogame arm which seems to think Force Ghosts can wield lightsabers and get stabbed by them.

The Force Ghost thing needs a rethink anyway especially on the PT side of the coin, so why not extend it to the other side?
