While the cockpit keeps rocking back and forth at the same rate, the outside seems to cut suddenly from the top frame to the bottom, where it continues until it hits the water.

Fixing it could be as easy as fading from the top to the bottom frame really fast, or reconfiguring the scene as follows:

Luke starts the landing sequence, shot of R2, moved beginning of cockpit, Luke concerned, continuing cockpit shot to crash.

I'm sure Ady has already fixed it though. ;-)

I've already fixed this. It looks like they spliced 2 different videos of the outside together which caused a jump cut. I've fixed the jump cut :)
