I posted the original version somewhere around here, and the sequel, too.

On another note, has anyone else seen this?(!)

I think it was the scary Lord Of The Dance that was being referred to which would make Vader's entrance more like this :

Yes, Bingo has the right Lord of the Dance. It was a dance troupe started by Michael Flatley who can from the Irish dance troupe Riverdance.

And that link is LOL!

ok, well no real updates but things are going really well on the CG front. I'm taking a break from the edit and building stuff because we've got a halloween party next week so i need to get everything ready for that. Here's a couple of pics of the models i have made for it. All this cost less than £20 altogether to make. It's all made from cardboard, toilet paper and PVA glue, with some gel blood.

If only you could see to the right of the picture. I had to quickly crop it because you could see the Wampa.

Obi-Wan remembers Yoda's Exile Location on Dagobah

OH PLEASE!
He can't even remember his own Droid!!

Obi-Wan technically never owned R2. Besides, Obi knowing where Yoda is, is important.  They had to know where each other where.

Christ, yeah, bingo (Not the man)

I always wanted my sig to be a bit more OLD BEN as it is there.

Those Peter Serafinowicz's lines are side spitting (for those in the know!) Mr. Reverse me. Cuz...

I dont mind that yoda actually sits in the rock in the next shot(less is more) but at least add the blue bag in the previous shot ;)

ESB is such a great looking fantasy film.

That it is, especially when Ady gets done with it!

When in 2010 will this edit be out?

 Don't stop there.

Great looking (well shot)

Great script

Great direction

Great performances - even Mark Hamill

Great everything.

My favourite single shot in all of the six movies is in Empire. The slide right ending on Luke framed perfectly in the Wampa cave. Stunning.

Why didn't Irvin Kershner direct ROTJ?  One can only wonder what it would of been.

Kersh didn't want to do another one. Plus, Lucas was a little miffed at Kersh's patience to make things look, oh you know, NICE. Later Kersh regretted not pushing harder to do RotJ. A bad Robocop sequel and the Seaquest TV Pilot can do that to a person.

Indeed. Kirschner might have been busy, I forget now. I know Lucas asked him if he wanted to direct Attack of the Clones, but Kirsch declined because of his age. Some people say that's a myth that Lucas asked him, but I was told from a pretty close source that it's true. If only again!

Lucas has much respect for Kersh. He even consulted with Kersh, albeit mostly during its creation, on the changes to the ESB:SE.

All of the changes, except for the end shuttle landing scene, came right from Kerh's "If I could only go back and fix things" list for ESB. The Wampa. The digimattes to open up Cloud City. All of the enhancements. Those are all things he wanted to do originally but just couldn't do. And he hated the Wampa stuff.

wow! That's interesting tidbit. Do you think the film would have been shot on 35mm if Kirsh directed it or do you still think Lucas would have pushed for the Sony HDCAM or whatever sub-2k nonsense he shot it on. I really think that film would have been much better and maybe jived better with Phantom Menace (which I actually enjoy quite a bit) if someone else had directed it.

I didn't know that, interesting.  I wonder how much better AOTC would have been with Kersh.  He probably would have shot at all real locations, except Coruscant.

(which I actually enjoy quite a bit)

There are some strong scenes and then some totally stupid scenes.  With heavy editing, added scenes, and cleaned up CG, who knows?
