Now do you guys like the Dagobah "color correction." IMO, it was to extreme. It looks dead and gray. TOO, dead and gray.
You know, this is one thing that really pisses me off, and it all thanks to the crappy 2004 DVD colouring. I've had the same thing in the comments on the youtube videos and thorough emails and it makes me wonder if these people had even seen star wars before 2004. The bullshit that the blue colouring creates a great atmosphere and was a deliberate creative decision is probably one of the most stupid comments i have ever heard. So Yoda is supposed to be blue then change to a neon cyan colour? Now what is the true colour of ESB? The GOUT has a red tint to it due to the print used for the transfer but the colours still look the best. The 1997 SE seems to be getting the blue tint and Yodas colouring starts to change. The 2004 DVD, well you only have to look at it to know just how wrong that is. So i decided to get closer to the GOUT without the red tint and also use on set photos to get an idea of colouring. Yoda is now finally back to being green :)
And yes, this should have gone in the ESB:R thread
