JasonN, brash_stryker and Ghost are all in favour of Dooku-as-well-intentioned-antagonist, and I've seen nobody else on these boards inclined to dismiss it out of hand like you. There are edits out there which do it, of which JasonN's is only one. Don't say they fail before you've seen them.
