I always think she bears a striking resemblance to young Carrie Fisher.
I realize I'm biased, but the resemblance is minimal.
In my eyes - you'd be hard-pressed to find a woman as breathtakingly beautiful as Carrie Fisher was when she was young.
Is "funhouse mirror version of Carrie Fisher" a better comparison?
Or maybe this: She looks like how one might imagine old Carrie Fisher when she was young (assuming one did not know or have access to lovely pictures of the lady such as you posted.)
And why are you biased? Are you secretly Carrie Fisher's dad or something?
I have trouble NOT seeing Eddie Fisher when I look at Carrie. LOL. Granted, she was more attractive when she was young than she is now (but then, most people are). I think Carrie's intelligence and humor have always been her most attractive features, and she had a decent figure when she was thin. But I think Terri Nunn would have been a far more stunning Princess Leia- but probably not the right personality for the part.
But, to each their own.
My first impression of Mark Hamill when I was 11 was that he was the most stunning-looking male I'd ever seen, and I still remember exactly how I felt when I watch SW, yet he never made and of the "Top 100 Sexiest/Prettiest/Handsomest In Movies" lists, either.
And they've both aged badly, for whatever reasons.
