You said it. Have you ever seen the early CG tests they did even for Star Wars? Thankfully they weren't good enough so he left it alone then.

I honestly believe Star Wars was more of a fluke than genius, and Empire was great because of other writers and a better director (and a bigger budget). The other four I can take or leave.
