Yes but it's not the order that she's told. It's that after she seems to have no reaction to her true family. Maybe it was too much for one movie?

Ah yes, sorry, I actually focused a little bit on the 'WTF...your father?' part of your post. I do know what you're talking about :)

Yeah, Leia doesn't really say anything in the vain of 'Damnit, I should have known that bastard was my father!'

Lol :)

It's not a huge issue for me but it has made me wonder over the years if ROTJ, by compressing so many things into one film, really missed a chance to finish off the saga in a truly epic way. Too much of the film ties up things quickly and then moves on.

I know what you mean. I've read the Star Wars: Infinities comics and they make the OT have some real epic moments that weren't in the films at all, but at the end of the day those stories are nice but temprary deviations of the classic movies we love. In ROTJ Infinities both Leia and Luke duel with Vader and at the end they all have a kind of family reunion (with a reformed Vader - in white armour) and then plan to hunt down and destroy The Emperor :)

Oh well, I still love ROTJ, but I am aware that it needs a number of improvements - though unfortunately some are unfeasible. So all in all, not really a huge issue with the Luke and Leia scene.
