Or is this an admission that you, yourself work for ILM? :)

I think you'd be surprised how many ILMers and fx artists are fans of this project and others of its kind. :D
I've often wondered if any in-industry type folk participated or followed fan edits. Are you saying you know of proof that supports this suspicion?

Just thought I'd post this again, seeing as this topic is brought up again.
I agree on showing the debris that went out with Luke shown falling away towards the bottom of the shaft.. but on that note, shouldn't the shaft darken as it deepens?
Just look down at an scyscraper and you will find the answer weither it should be darken or not (remember the lights in the windows). But the shaft do darken a little longer down, I think it's good.
The possible debris should be sucked into the wall (like Luke later get sucked in), but in that case there is no suck surprise! :-)

BUSTED!!!
Well I know Kyle Newman the director of Fanboys is a fan of Revisited and he sent a copy to Dave Filoni the guy in charge of the Clone Wars and apparently he watched it with a bunch of people over at Lucasfilm and they all loved it.

It's been over a year now - Lucas MUST have seen it :)
That sounds awesome, and I'm sure it's true too.

Yes. I'm saying that some fx artists at ILM and elsewhere, being fans of SW and fx stuff all around, like this kinda stuff. That's what I'm saying. Notice I said some. I know some don't like it very much, but that's just from a creative standpoint: We made it. Let's move on.
And there's some public comments by Muren himself. He seems almost indifferent about it all, including the SEs he worked on. lol.

Not Star Wars, but...

You can't trust that... because I am the director of "The Crow: City of Angels"
It's better to think positive then to think negative. I'd hope it's true.

I'm inclined to believe that is Tim Pope speaking. And what a nice thing to say from someone who clearly still feels wronged by Miramax (oh, don't get me started on Miramax!). Well done to the editor.
I dont like the fact big brother maybe watching, without chiping in with any constructive material that is.....

Remember that this is still on the inside... most skyscrapers are out in the open air, so ambient light is going to have a much bigger effect... not to mention that this tunnel would be full of gas vapors from the various gas mining facilities and carbonite waste production.
You know, wouldn't it be kinda sad that Luke dies not from Vader or the Emperor or whatnot, but lung cancer from the pollution he was breathing in during this sequence?

Like others have mentioned, I like the idea of Luke's lightsaber powering down as it flies through the window with him. I don't think it is necessary to hear it, since like Imperial Fighter suggested, the wind would be quite loud in there anyhow, and it would be unlikely that you would hear it power down. But seeing it would keep in continuity with how they function, as well as help clear up confusion for some viewers regarding where it went. Just my thoughts.

Boon verified it - it is the real Tim Pope. Here's the link from his own blog.

i'd actually be surprised if they didn't know about it. GL is the father of star wars after all. he's prolly seen and heard all the critiscism, fan edits, etc.
if he was to sue or something like that, it would've already happened. GL doesn't seem like the kinda guy who would do that.
i do recall in a documentary that he wanted to inspire a bunch of young, i know some of us r old so we apply, filmmakers. while ady is not a film maker, he's doing an amazing thing with the movies. if not for GL adywan wouldn't be doing this. ;)

Did you read this in an article/interview/forum thread/etc? If so, can you provide a link?

. . . I don't know who that is. :/
And, it's late where I am, so I don't think I'll be going about looking the guy up right now. <---- (Laziness)

Kyle Newman spoke about how much he liked ANH:R in an interview. He is also following me on Twitter and he has said that he is excited for ESB:R. I've also been contacted by the writer of Fanboys, Ernie Cline, who kindly sent me a copy of Fanboys along with a copy of the rough 2006 cut of the movie.
Blimey, I just hope you're not giving more updates on Twitter than you are here! ;)
Do we have an estimated delivery date more precise than “sometime in 2010”? Are we talking early 2010, mid 2010, or late 2010?
Time is running out for the Rebels. Antilles upcourt to Skywalker. He’s being paced by Darth Va— the bone-jarring pick by Solo! He came out of nowhere! Skywalker’s open from way outside, he launches at the buzzer... Good! It’s good! The Rebels win on a sensational buzzer beater by Luke Skywalker! Let’s take another look at that last shot. He just does get it off in time. Wow, what a shot. That’s why they call him Luke Legend.
That may be the most exciting battle I have ever been privileged to broadcast. Certainly the most dramatic finish. We’ll get you an update on the Artoo Detoo injury situation in just a moment. Right now let’s go courtside where SuperShadow is waiting with Chewbacca.
2011 and counting

Don't worry. Once it's released, and you've watched it, I'll let you know that it's been released.

Lmao....Ric = over explanatory awesomeness
I would guess GL has either seen AnHr himself or been made aware of it at this point. If he has I hope he seriously considers Ady's brilliant work whenever he finally cranks out that overdue bluray set.
If he were smart though he'd hire Ady.
If Ady could do so much from scratch imagine what he could do if the sky were the limit?
