While trying to fix the "original DVD image" holes left by someone's hosting moving or something, I found another edit that has been bothering me.

The trooper doesn't seem very sneaky bobbing his head up and down throughout this whole scene then jumping up to tackle Han.

It was a vague suggestion a long time ago.  That's why its in quotes, I'm not sure where it is.

That does add a lot, and it's a fairly simple tweak. :) I dunno if I like the beams for the holo-projector (maybe just one pointing straight up underneath the image?), but it certainly fits with earlier examples, like R2's projector.

Since we've been talking about (in the following scenes) making it more clear that it's morning time (with altered lighting)...would it be possible have the sun start to come up at the end of this scene? Just a thought...  :P

I like the chewie and speeder pics too! And yes I think the reflections are doable...at least to some extent...like Bingo said.  :D

Now that would be really symbolic - especially for Vader. It's almost as if the light is calling out to him - to redeem himself of his sins....and perpetual whining. :)

Awesome idea and it should be strongly considered. I'm sure it will be doable.

Lightsaber interactive lighting and fixed position. It appears mine is fat but is not. a weird effect that i ll have to check.

Continuity! (dvd image) these shots are before and after we cut to vader.Colors, shadows and something darkside is wrong.

Maybe the set could be saved if Angel applied some of those Nostromo texture and lighting effects to those awful plastic walls.

I have greater plans for these scenes :)

Good one but i think this time, less is more. we can show dawn when the shuttle leaves as well. I assume if we change the background with something more natural we can show the brightness rises slowly. Tho there is no indication of sky from that POV.

Something more to the waterfall concept. IT IS DOABLE because there are only a few shots that show the other side of the platform and is unfocused as well so no need to detail there.

Also I thought that some leafs as particles can be shown to overlap the actors during the speeder chase scene. OR in the fly bys to show a similar effect.

Dont forget to add the fricking missing shadows :D

Vader stands looking past the camera for around 5 seconds not moving, theoretically we could create a new shot from behind him looking towards the rising sun.  However, the sun comes up BEHIND him if I understand the set design.

The camera is at the rear of the AT-AT, which means its facing towards the sun in the bottom shot (which matches the actors in that scene, believe it or not!).  Bummer.

Also, should this be Vader's shuttle?  If so, it moved.  Better yet, it should be a new class that matches whatever Tydyrium is replaced with.

Adding leaves flapping and flying around as speederbikes pass by is a great idea!

It's a subtle way of working Padme into the film without being hamfisted.

Hamfisted?  Like taking one of Vader's "Padme"s from the end of RotS and using it here quietly?
