A quick update:

I've managed to fix a few of the transparent snowspeeder cockpits. A few are impossible to fix but the main ones, like the speeder flying underneath the walker and the final cockpit shot of the snowspeeder search are done. I've also fixed the continuity problems with Lukes flight suit chest plate during the Hoth battle that keeps changing colour when they should be blue. Plus when Luke crashes you see the blue buttons as he tries to open the cockpit then the next shots the blue buttons have gone and one pale button replaces them (you can also see where the one button has fallen off)

Ah Nice! the buttons are fixed :D.

A question: Did you replace the snowspeeder search scene's background mountains with some that have continuity? ( they change all the time from snowing to rock) if not all a part of them.

Without hiring a helicopter and filming some new background plates, changing these shots isn't possible. But after looking at that scene there isn't much of a problem with it. There is probably only 2-3 shots that don't match up perfectly, so not a big deal to me really

Sky_, I actually love the terrific original one just as it is, with it's Imperial March cue.  I remember my son saying he thought it looked really cool when he first saw it too.

I've watched ANH:R so many times now, that it seems as part of the fittings now as the other logos at the start of the movie.  I really looked forward to seeing that same logo throughout in the rest of the 'Revisited' versions, especially at the beginning of EMPIRE:R.

 

Great stuff on managing to fix most of the 'transparent' Speeder cockpit issues, Adywan.  Another neat improvement.

Ady added all the Tie fighters etc on top of what I created

but I was thinking to do something similar but have a snow theme on it..

Sky, that logo is awesome. Everytime I see it on my 52'' HDTV or on my laptop, it makes me smile :)

One time I put the speakers up on a high volume and after the logo faded away I could hear my neighbours chanting The Imperial March in sing-song voices :D

Great Job - in fact they came over and watched the DVD and said that the logo was amazing and was worthy of Ady's edit. I agree.

- Btw, for TESB:R, a similar logo with the same fonts and stuff could be used, but replace the Death Star with something from TESB, like Vader's Executor ship. Or you could plan a new one with Ady like you said.

I was hoping that you still had the HD version of the original logo you sent me Sky_ because i lost the original when the hard drive died. I wanted to keep the same logo animation for all of the movies but add different elements to represent each movie

Nothing but goodness here.  Excited that this guy is working with you on ESBR, and the prospect of having different Adywan logos for each movie sounds awesome.

Too bad that my mind has already moved on to RotJ thanks to the Wishlist.  Can't wait to see what you do with it (still excited about ESB though!)
