If there was one thing, ONE thing I'd have added in ADYWAN's A NEW HOPE, its the Luke-Briggs scene, place it before he complains how all of his friends are leaving the planet for the rebellion.
I always thought we never got attached to Briggs enough to either feel sorry for his loss when he dies, or to understand why Luke is so frustrated.
Anyway, just my two cents...
