I agree. Just cut out the bit between "There...that looks pretty good.", and "That'll do nicely.". Perfect fix. End of problem. :D
Okay, I've done a new mock-up of this scene. The difference being that instead of saying that Han predicted the cave entrance, instead he is, as everyone here has suggested, first saw the canyon and thought it may be a potential place to hide, but then sees the cave and realizes it is even better than he first assumed.
Half of a character's line had to be sacrificed for it to work, but I don't miss it, honestly. Now, here goes:
