I love that. after all: An entire legion of my best troops awaits them. it should be a fair enough amount of firepower to show that the rebels won ;) that gives me a great idea for a mockup. But it occurs with a problem. if we will have an electric napalm style shot, then the explosion of the shield generator should be more breath taking and a worthy money shot! something like we see in Iron man end. a ray of energy rises to the skyies and then we have the exp.

Yes i remember that :D

I just thought a cool scene from a bombarding and wipe out big areas.

Still if the empire has air strikes how the rebels will manage to shot them out without enough footage to achieve that?

I had Artoo use the bunker computer to program the Imperial gun turrets to shoot down their own ships (so no new footage other than models necessary) but I'm sure there are ways around it.

Clearing all that forest would allow for AT-AT stomping throught the stumps and ash footage without the perceived getting stuck between trees problem too, also perhaps some real Ewok carnage along the lines of the Lars Homestead massacre:

That's a strangely satisfying image.

I think in the shot where Teebo or whoever it is gets killed, we could digitally add flames to him so it takes the "poor, dead Teddy bear" edge off and makes it more gruesome. I might give that a go, even digital removing a limb or two.

The bit where he is called over to open the doors could be adapted for that so it's a last minute hack while he is trying to do something else and then he gets shot by the stormtrooper.

 Wait, are you saying he shouldn't be called over to open the doors? or he IS called over to open the doors then also hacks the gunners to shoot down the TIEs (or whatever they are)? I think the latter would make more sense...well...I guess I don't like the idea of cutting out the little bit of dialouge we have from Han or Liea...

This shot is after leia and han kissing each other.

i found that shot very boring and without mood.

A sunset with a dramatic landscape with ewok village at midground it would fit better.

Things id like to add: smoke and fires from the battle, Endor planet in the background. but i left it as it have because it could get busy.

I was suggesting they call him over to open the doors and while he is attempting to do that the TIE Bombers attack so he hacks the weapons systems (Hooray!) and then gets shot (Boo!) leaving Han with no other option than to try and hotwire the door.

Angel, that really is excellent. I've always been disappointed with how the forest moon just looked liked Earth. No effort was made to make it look different. I think should also replace the shot where the Rebels in the shuttle fly over the forest when they first arrive - first impressions are everything :-)

yeah! I did some mockups some ages ago but id like to rethink it and adding more elements as well.

Plus is good to see some more camera movement rather a static shot.

Angel that's awesome - ROTJ honestly had some bland cinematography (IMO TESB had the best cinematography of all the films for the kind of story it was) and it's great to see that your mock-ups show Endor in a new light - and besides it's the end of the six-film saga and we all need to see something marvelous. I really hope your mock-up idea gets taken on-board when it's time to do ROTJ:R, it would be amazing to see in motion :) 

And I also hope Ady takes on the ideas to make Jabba's palace look better too since the scenes kind of looked bland tbh.

what about the rebels arrive at dawn?

If you think it, it matches the sun later also adds to variety and time pacing.

Angel, that is utter perfection. I would so love to see someone do this in motion and I think it really fits with the whole timing of Han and his strike team getting there at dawn. Could you do some mock-ups of the speeder chase please? That would be interesting to see.

I'm gonna upgrade to Photoshop CS4 btw :)

I agree with angel. Stick with CS3. I have been using CS3 for quite some time and I haven't found anything that can beat it.

Angel PM'd me as well and I think I'm gonna get CS3 then. I used to have CS2, but atm all I use is GIMP 2, lol. CS2 was pretty cool and CS3 definitely looks like it's as easy to use as the one I had :)

many original photos(10-15) :P plus painting :)

i keep them in HD, but not everything im making.

so be happy that i may release them

would you consider tinting the specific scenes to fit in with the colouration of the time of day.

I dont got that... :P

Angel! I love the two new shots! I've also been wondering: is there anything you can do to the Rancor? You know...making it look less...fake?

ROTJ is my favorite movie of all time and besides the effects/coloration and the young Anakin ghost from 2004 DVD there isn't really anything I want changed/updated.

But Angel those mockups are gorgeous!
