To me, what's annoying is you see all these creatures during the song and then afterward, they're gone. I wish Lucas could have kept the song, added in some additional creatures (like this edit) and had some of the same creatures stay in the background during the rest of the palace scenes. But adding all that new footage jars with the scenes afterward when it's back to the rubbery looking puppets. That creature on the ground with a leash that barks like a dog just looks so fake to me.
