God of War really shouldn't be a movie. It is a button masher of a game, littered with some fun little puzzles and great visuals, but the story is nothing new. All it does is take Greek mythology out of its original context and rearrange it and make as much of it as possible fit into their story, which is cool for a game, but I just don't see it as a movie.

As for a Bioshock movie and the killing of children, you are given that option in the game, to save or harvest the little sisters. But the game awards you very heavily for saving them rather than harvesting (bonus tonics and plasmids), so clearly they want to encourage you to save instead of harvest. I am pretty sure if they did made it into a movie (which I think would most certainly end in disaster) they wouldn't have their hero doing any harvesting. But George Lucas showed the world that the mass murdering of children, even by the films main protagonist, is perfectly acceptable, even for a children's movie.
