I think films have been getting severely worse and worse everyday. And guess what people like them. My brother in law is one of those people who if a film doesn't have one explosion it isn't worth watching. I looked at his dvd collection and it is full of Jet Li and Jason Statham movies. What happened to good calm tranquil films. Hell even the comedy films of today have stooped to pretty low levels. I want to go out and watch a movie that makes me say.......... A good powerful film is one that will leave the audience speechless. I just feel when I watch a movie today like I have seen it before. And that is the truth. Why are there so many remakes today. I hope one day to see a movie that has an original thought. I miss seeing movies that do something familiar but takes it somewhere. I feel that movies are being made just to be made. Hell they can get the rights to old movies or books and make some quick bucks on them. Then they take classics that were perfect just absolute beauties and slap a big stamp on them so they can make a crap load of money. Well atleast the we have the classics on some form of home video. I don't know why they needed to make a G.I. Joe movie. The show sucked and the action figures were just peices of plastic. It is pretty sad that G.I. Jane was better than G.I. Joe LOL.
