I still say that the TIE that Han and co. see upon entering the Alderaan System should be further away in the shot when Han says "I think I can get him before he gets there, he's almost in range."
I assume that all that would need to be done is to shrink the TIE down so it looks further away. All related shots would have to be adjusted somewhat to match though.
