Since it sounds like negotiation isn't an option, the most practical advice you're likely to receive is to save up for your own set. I imagine second-hand (or 'used') CRTs or back-projection sets can be had pretty cheaply these days...

When do you think you're likely to move out?

As soon as I can find a job to save up on. It is sad not even McDonald's will hire me and they are usually a last resort when it comes to jobs. I swear there is too many people were I live and they took all of the jobs. So I am basically broke LOL. Right now I am working on my education so I can get a job atleast better than fast food (been there done that).
