It was largely redundant anyway as everything Jabba says Greedo has already said with a better punchline (specifically BANG! ).

I have made the suggestion elsewhere that the scene could possibly be reused if the subtitles were changed to say something new of significance that fitted with Han's replies but you are still stuck with the problem of what to do with that bloody tail.

It might be possible to halt Han let Jabba slither out of the way and then have him move on (it would be really difficult to get that to look right too).

And even after they replaced the awful 1997 CGI model they still got the colour and details wrong, it still doesn't look enough like Jabba from ROTJ.

Addressing all these concerns and finding a way of putting the scene in without interrupting the flow of the movie would be a real bugger.
