I've done that; MKV files just seem to be a roundabout headache when the file can be muxed into a TS file and work perfectly well.  Either there are audio issues, video issues or non-compatibility issues.  If the TS format holds all the information a MKV format does, why pick the more problematic format?

And I don't understand why you can't re-encode the 10 to 25 gb files you have to 4.5 or 8.5 gb size to fit onto a DVD-5 or DVD-9 the way Rasputin did.   I can understand not wanting to torrent or host a bunch of 10 to 25 gb sized files (since you would need a 1tb hard drive, internal or external, just for your hosted files), but if they can be re-encoded to smaller sizes, retain their HD nature AND be extremely easy to make blu-ray DVD-5s and 9s out of, why not do it that way then the pain-in-the-but MKV version which one will have to convert into a TS file anyways?

Is there a particular program you use to create TS files or a setting in TSmuxer that actually creates workable TS files?  Like I mentioned in detail before, all I get is errors of various kinds.  I'm sorry if I offended you, but just out of my personal experience, MKV sucks.
