Obi-Wan must appear to kill Anakin on Mustafar, or at least leave him to die. Vader should then show up in his suit and attack the Temple
Do it Pulp Fiction style and have the chronology of events obscured, only to be truly revealed in RotJ. Lol!
Seriously though, I like this idea (yours Rinon, not mine); making Anakin's defeat a mid-film climax rather than end-film.

Just not Anikan becoming Vader. When Anikan is burning in the fires of Mustafar let him close his eyes then have an establishing shot with sad music and take it from there.
I was just thinking about doing something similar: After Obi-Wan dismembers Anakin, do not show any movement in his torso. Make him look limp and lifeless to imply he is dead. Then, still not moving, the immolation begins and seals the deal. Even though we all know he isn't dead, to a newcomer it should seem very convincing.
EDIT:
It would also lend more credibility to Obi-Wan's decision to not finish him off, which doesn't make much sense in RotS when "Lord Vader" is still so obviously alive. And I don't believe that Obi-Wan did that because he couldn't bear to bring himself to once again attack his "brother." He's a Jedi Master and should have been able to recognize that Anakin isn't Anakin anymore. If anything, he should have been compelled to finish him off so that his "brother" wouldn't suffer such a horrible death. Yet another example of something that was done merely because it has to lead into the OT and not because it makes sense for the films' characters to do.

Just be sure that you get someone with a suit that has an appropriate looking headpiece. I notice that, all too often, even the best of Darth Vader costumes have a mask that looks wrong when compared to the films. The mouth area breathing apparatus seems to protrude to far.

This is similar to what I plan on doing with my RotJ mock-up.
