Thanks for that,but I must not be seeing what I need to see,I know that 1920x1080 is 1080HD and that 1280x720 is 720HD,but what I am asking is,let's say I make the AVCHD 720p,I know the finish size is 1280x720,but what part of that is video to make it 2.35:1,and what size are the borders?
example std. DVD 2.35:1 is 720x364(853.3 divided by 2.35) ,then addborders 0,58,0,58 encode in 16:9 and there you go,I need to know these for HD video.
like I said I know what all those dimensions are on standard DVD,just not these HD sizes.
