I will have to re-watch this scene. It has been so long that I can't be 100% sure as to what it is that takes me out of that scene. I suspect that it is Hayden's poor delivery of lines such as, "Thanks you...my master," but again I'll have to re-watch that just to be sure.

I think it would work better to cut from "We must move quickly" to Palpatine's office directly. There's already too many takeoff/landing sequenes in the PT that just aren't necessary, and this is one of them.

I suggest looking at the OT and studying how, when, and how many times take of/landing sequences where used, and try to emulate that feel in RotS.
