Ady, do you plan to remove Frank Oz's head from some shots of Yoda? It has been mentioned, but I don't see it in the change list on page 1.
I think the flap idea came up a long, long time ago, but I can't remember what was said about it. I just did a search for 'flap' here, but didn't see it. May have been brought up in the ANH:R thread... *checking* Nope. Well, it is a good idea, but I know I heard it somewhere. Oh, maybe in a Darth Editous thread! *checks the DE ESB and ANH threads* Nope.
At any rate, it would be nice to hear if Ady thinks it's worth doing.

Indeed. Since we won't have any more trailers...
Just one Ady.
Rhikter said:EyeShotFirst said:Rogue squadron was just a mere copy of what was done on that level.
Really? I thought the Rogue Squadron battle was much more cinematic as opposed to the SotE version which was more arcady. Not that one is better than the other mind you, I just wouldn't call one a copy of the other.
...we are talking about "Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader" right?
Nope Rogue Squadron 1. for the PC and N64. Rogue Leader was a completely different game than the original. Rogue Leader was an amazing game. I wouldn't have even called it Rogue Squadron simply because it wasn't like the old game as in it was way better and gameplay was top. I am just saying that the gameplay on Rogue Squadron 1 was a complete copy of the gameplay in the first level of shadows of the empire. It was harder to control the speeders of course N64 controllers were good they just weren't built to last LOL. I bought so many N64 controllers I would be rich if I had the money in my pocket right now. I am not the only one who had joystick problems am I?
"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

Anyone have stills of Frank's head seen in shots? I have never seen this, amazing after seeing the movie over and over again that it
is possible to still miss things like that.

Ah, in that case I know exactly what you mean.

Ady, I left you a question in the The Prequel Radical Redux Ideas Thread.
Don't feel obligated to answer it, but it's there if you end up having the time to check it out. Here's the link.

Now this thread really is dead!
Sevb32 said:Now this thread really is dead!
It's not dead, it's just pining for the fjords.
This thread needs to get back on track instead of talking about outdated games, the Snowspeeder flaps are a good point though.
As for this thread being dead, well 478 pages isn't bad, it'll just keep growing with anticipation of the release.
Agreed. The usuals are just getting bored. Really not too much is going to be said pertaining to ESBR until it is about to be released. So this thread is aside from the occasional idea, is becoming an off topic place. But I think this thread has set a record for most posts. At least I believe so (haven't seen any that had more (maybe adys ANH R thread but this one is taking the taco for ideas. ESB is alot of peoples favorite movie so it would only make sense that it would be so popular. When Ady does the prequels their threads will dominate the post count in this one. I am sure there are 100's of ideas of how to save or atleast improve the films.

And like any sequel, more people are interested in it having seen the original. I didn't even know about ANH:R until someone posted on another message board I go to, and this was after it was released. I'm sure a lot of other people came here the same way.
My outlook on life - we’re all on the Hindenburg anyway…no point fighting over the window seat.

I found this site like 2 weeks before ANH R came out by accident. I was looking for Hi Rez Star Wars posters in google and I found a gigantic ESB poster in the Hi Rez poster art section. So I added this site to my favorites. I came back about January to find more posters and then started reading some of every bodies posts and became really interested in the fact that nobody liked George Lucas' evil doings on the GOUT (which took me a while to figure out what that meant) so I said heck I'll join. Funny alot of people came because of ANH R but I found it by accident. I had no idea that people actually made fan edits of movies LOL aside from bootlegs. But now I am here talking about fan edits like I make my own LOL.

I found ANHR because I was reading one of the TrekMovie.com about Star Trek Remastered, and someone mentioned that STR was cool, but nothing compared to Revisited. I followed the link and found myself here! I never left.

When I got ANH R I never touched my 2004 dvds again. They are just sitting on a shelf collecting dust.

Same here :)
Though if I do want to listen to Lucas and co talk about ANH I do actually listen to their commentary on the 2004 DVD, other than that ANH:R is the definite version of Episode IV for me. I had a great Star Wars Trilogy marathon with it :)
By the time ROTJ:R is released, I'll have a marathon with all of the Trilogy - revisited style :)

I actually touch mine when I want to watch the Rifftrax for it, which doesn't make fun of the movie so much as the SE additions! (The Riff on ESB is crap however, don't buy it)
