Ah yes, the ol' Ave Maria one. :) That was a neat touch, but I think I do like the new one a bit better.

Sweet. Just so you guys know, the new logo won't be featured in the preview version, but it will be in the final DVD in December. By the way Ripplin, did you get my pm?

Also please note: The prologue is included in the preview but I plan on removing it, fixing the many frame errors that were missed and putting it as a bonus feature because it's 24 minutes of an intro that most of us (including the common audience) knows already.

I've been following this thread for a while, though I can't remember if I've posted anything (I've been away from OriginalTrilogy for a long time).

So... if this isn't my first post, then good to be back!

Hey guys sorry I've been REALLY busy. I'm going away on Friday again, so tomorrow I'm gonna send the DVD by express to Ripplin.

I won't be accepting donations until the rough draft is online. Ripplin, please include the readme file in the torrent. It explains the changes that are still to be made. Also since I burned the DVD I've found a lot of new music I might use in places of others. Sorry it's been taking so long!!!

Also my computer might crash soon (apparently I had like four servers running off my computer at once which won't let me defrag and my comp is going rediculously slow!!!) I can't reformat cause I'll lose all my data!!! So I'm gonna make the final corrections once I get feedback so I can render the final video (if adywan could give me his preferences for mpeg that would be awesome!) then I can put it on my hardrive, reformat and then install DVD Architect to make the Menu.

Once the final version is rendered I'll be posting a trailer and then a bunch of 20-40 second spots until the final release (December 25th, 2009 - which also happens to be the last friday of the year). I might also do a soundtrack of the new music and I'll be releasing official DVD covers (which I have already come up with a neat layout for).

Also, does anyone know of any Star Wars Radio shows I could go on to maybe let people know this is happening?

So, is your plan to release a "beta version" of sorts to the public via bit torrent, or am I misunderstanding and this is something that will only go to a select few so they can give feedback?

He's gonna send me a "beta version", as you called it, which I'm gonna help distribute digitally. (How and where can be discussed later.) I'm gonna have to read up on creating torrents again, since I've only ever done two and the last one was a couple of years ago. There's a guide at the Demon that I used before and it was easy.

Ripplin will get the full quality and 5.1 version to view himself, everyone else get's a crappy quality of the beta version. I'll be posting the corrections that are still to be made on the front page on Thursday. This way people can make suggestions and they can decide finally whether or not they would like to make donations. (As I will not accept them for a movie that hasn't been previewed)
