No. The GOUT doesn't even have enough resolution to make a nice DVD.

Rephrasing the question - suppose you have a display with 1080p native resolution. Would an AVCHD made from the GOUT stabilization script (i.e. upscaled with the EEDI2 algorithm) look any better than an anamorphic DVD from the script played on an upscaling DVD player?

(I suppose the answer is "depends on the upscaling in the player", but just interested to hear your thoughts.)
