With all this Jar jar talk lately, you know what I'd really like to see:
When Ady does Episode I, I picture Jar jar showing up at the beginning, let him say something stupid and then kill him off right then and there by a droid or whatever (something random) and just never show him or refer to him again. At that moment it would give you a feeling like "okay, this will be different and better this time" right at the beginning of the new PT edits.
Anyways, on the cloaking device debate: Just seconds earlier we hear the imperial officer say "no ship this size has a cloaking device". It would be weird to have Boba's ship go into cloaking mode just moments afterwards. The scene also shows that while Han is able to outsmart the empire, he has met his match with Boba, who uses the same tactic on him.

There's a debate? I only made that mock up cause someone requested it and I thought it sounded fun to do! Sorry if anyone thought I was seriously suggesting it should be used.
Though as someone else already mentioned, seeing Slave 1 use a cloaking device would actually make Captain Needa's line have a whole new meaning... to have a real meaning besides being a throwaway line, actually! And would show that Captain Needa didn't really know as much about cloaking devices as he thought he did, and making Imperial Officers look pretty bad in the process.
BUT... as I said already, my mock up was never meant to be taken seriously as a consideration for adding to ESB:R. (ALL THE OTHER ONES ARE! Just saying....)

I've been somewhat thinking about this mock up off and on since it appeared... I think it MIGHT work, but based on the shot of when Luke is crawling out away from Vader, the angle suggests that if the building were to be seen at all in the background, I don't think it would be so much in the center. Perhaps more to the left?

Hey, former lurker here. I found and loved the Ep IV so much - can't wait to see Empire get this treatment. 'Revisted' is the best version of Ep IV by a million miles.

I think the part of that gantry that Vader sliced through (after being slightly cut by Luke - ''Argh! Aaargh!'') should have some sparks coming from it after Vader goes on to 'attack' Luke.

I think someone made a mock up picture of glowy hot metal saber cuts during the Vader/Luke duel. I'm too lazy to locate them in this thread though.
On a similar note, I recently brought up that I would like to see a glowing saber cut on the bottom of the AT-AT, when Luke is tossing a grenade inside. Somewhat similar topic you can say.

Luke's amputation looked a bit fake - but on that mock-up it looks like how Anakin was amputated in EpII.

It's more or less the only thing that always annoys me about ESB.
