I'll donate some more, but I'd like an exclusive preview for the donors, like the longer 8 min or preview he did for ANH:R, sure it would spoil some of us, that don't mind being spoiled a bit. We'd also have the agreement to not post it anywhere online.

People shouldn't need an additional incentive to donate. Believing in the project and wanting to help out any way we can is incentive enough. I for one would prefer the previews coming through at the rate they are currently. That way when it's finally done, I can sit back and watch it and be genuinely surprised and blown away by the changes/additions, rather than having seen most of them already.

Hello! I'm new (rookie) to this forum and someone have already probably mentioned this, but anyway:
When Darth Vader falls from the carbonite freezing chamber after fighting with Luke, he originally (in he VHS-version) said "aahh", but in the newer versions he said "oof" and that sound is a copy of the "oof" he said when Luke put some smoke in his face just a few moments before.
Please Adywan, change back to "aahh"! It is more logical to say "aahh" when you fall backwards than "oof"... :-)

I actually used a photo of a horse's eye and kept the glare in the eye, because in movies, anytime glare is removed from eyes, they look dead. That's why the tiny reflection of lights is never digitally removed from actors eyes and such. But the glare ended up being too big, and sort of creates that alien/demon look... strange side effect of my mock up, but not bad.
With the exception of the cloaked Slave 1 mock up, I usually find myself hoping Ady will take some of these ideas and improve upon them too!

oh_riginal... love the mock-up of the Slave 1 cloaking! It exceeded my expectations; very neat effect.
As far as cloaking technology in the Star Wars universe goes, however, I've always thought of it as radar cloaking (similar to a Stealth bomber). In other words, the ships remain visually visible to the eye, but don't register on instrumentation. That being the case, I've always assumed the Slave 1 had cloaking technology, hence why the Falcon didn't pick it up, and no need to make it visually disappear.

I think that it is not only flying too close, the Slave I model is too large in the fly-by shot. It should be only a fraction of the size of the Falcon -- not the same size.
If the Millenium Falcon and the Slave I elements could be separated and put together with different timing so that the Falcon passes the camera sooner, then maybe that could alleviate both issues.
The scale/distance is no longer a problem when the camera has finished turning and the Falcon can be seen again because then the Slave I's larger size will just make the Falcon look like it is farther away.
