Adywan, I absolutely agree that if you can achieve everything that you hope to (mentioned on page 468), that the results WILL be worth it, and I have no doubt that you ARE capable of building things the way you'd like to, once you have all the necessary materials at hand.

While this is a much-anticipated project, I'd far rather wait a lot longer before it's completed, if it means you can perhaps achieve the rest of what you'd ideally hope to do for this edit, rather than see a heavily-compromised version released earlier for the sake of getting it out as soon as possible. While you've already done a lot of amazing work on this, it is obvious that you have ideas that would make it even more exceptional.

You've already said that a lot of the fun of this endevour is to build this stuff yourself, and I can appreciate that. If it's going to take a lot longer because of this, then that's just the way it is. Quality is worth waiting for, and damn the wait.
