ChainsawAsh said: That said, Vaderios has a valid point, but at the same time, the significance of Luke's green lightsaber, or Mace Windu's purple one are never made even remotely clear in the movies, so I think it's fine - you're just going to have a lot of people thinking it was a pointless change that doesn't improve anything (an opinion I happen to agree with). But if you feel it's necessary, by all means, go for it.
Yes you are right, these two never explained to the movie.Just when you want to present two random characters, as different, that they only have significance to comics and novels, you have to chose wise your moves because you may lost the main protagonist/focus in each movie. I wouldnt mind Lucas had some more special action from some more popular jedi in geonosis arena, but as you notice, if you see the movies without anything around them Ayla and plo are random costumed aliens walking around.

I dont see why the sabers all have to be blue and red. What about qui gon? I like to see a Blue/Green/DoubleRed fight. Not Blue/Blue/Red in the darth maul fight.
Well according to more OT cannon less color is good. Besides TPM is like set the classes(blue apprentice green master) and the everyone followed as a cannon. I think always.

It worked on Dark Helmet right? :D
