To remove unwanted sound/music between words (on the ripped-out center channel of the mix) you could use a gate, such as these free ones.
There is currently no known way to remove sounds under the speech without artifacts, but you could experiment with something such as this or this.
Noise/hum etc. removal plugins are also useful sometimes.
