Another shot of Qui-Gon with his sabre yellow. What do you think?
i think it should be changed
heck i think luke's green saber looks twenty times better

"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

Its green man :)
I dont think it should be changed :)
And luke's saber is not twenty times better. Maybe twenty times worst

Now lets rethink some battle.
The black shadows are going behind the bad guys and the sun behind the good ones. Make gray the vehicles. Also lets reduce the cartoon like :)
Second pic i put a polution to the city and for sake reasons that night shots cant have these shadows i put an indication of a strong light.
Count again!!!

wtf is wrong with these sabers?
they look like Luke's one at its bad...
And for vader's sake the glows should continue and after the frame ;)
-Angel
Okay? If you wanted it green, why not just get the original version from the film, the yellow sabre is my recolour...
Does it matter that i even bothering?
-Angel
Nice, what effects do you use to get the lightsabres?
I dont use effects :)
If i have to tell you the secrets i ll lose my job :P
-Angel
Hehe.
I'm looking for some software that'll allow me to keyframe my lightsabres, just so I can test the yellow sabre in motion etc. Eventually I'll rotoscope it frame by frame to get a nice consistent sabre for the final edit.
You cant... I mean its really hard, time consuming, RAM/CPU consuming and at the end you will have a big headache instead of lightsabers.
I suggest you to try AE. Andrew Kramer has a nice plugin that allows you to make easy lightsabers with many addjustmens :)
Just remember. desaturate the green first and then apply the yellow.
Or just do the awesome way of Davnes007 that he keycorrect the saber :D
-Angel
Okay, thanks, can the plugin be used for blasters as well?
No idea :)
Check what is good for you

No....
Only the man machete :D
-Angel
^What in the world is that? A movie? :)
I have one, too. It was my grandfather's:
I'd make it a lightmachete, but I dunno how.
A'Sharad Hett. I think he should be in the prequels somewhere.
Yup. it was a trailer spoof but rodriguez decided to make it a movie :)
See the trailer in youtube.
You can also make your light machete with your "imagination" :)
-Angel
That's not a knife.
Is a knife!
Looking good.
