Garindan the Kubaz needed more appearances. He felt like an important character in ANH. He was mysterious almost like Boba Fett. Oh wait a minute he could be in the scene on board the Exectutor with all the bounty hunters. Of course that is a George Lucas "Hey kids look who it is" idea.
