Hey Ash, you can actually set up your laptop to work as a wireless adaptor for your PS3, I do it with my 360, and I have heard it works just as well with the PS2 and PS3. You just run an ethernet cable from your laptops ethernet port into the ethernet port on the back of the PS3, and change a few settings around, and your laptop will share your internet connection with your console. I think I remember hearing you say you have a MacBook right? Me too. Unfortunately, it is a little more involved with OS X than it is with WinXP/VISTA. Just google something like, "use laptop as wireless adaptor for PS3" and you'll be able to find detailed instructions. If you can't find it yourself, and are interested in trying this, let me know and I will see if I can't find the instructions for you. I don't have time at the moment, I have a lawn to mow, and I have only got just about enough daylight left to do it.
