There actually is a cut, oh_riginal. The imperial says,"My lord, we have them." Then there is a 'corkscrew wipe' (if I remember correctly) to the Falcon, and C3P0 says "Oh thank goodness we're coming out of the astroid field." But we, the audience, aren't sure how much time disclosed between those two scenes. Perhaps it was long enough for Boba to take a turbolift to the hanger and follow the Falcon unseen. I don't think its a problem, personally. =)
